There’s A “Game Of Thrones”-Inspired Bakery In London

If you’ve watched “Game of Thrones” and wished you could get your hands on a loaf of the Direwolf Bread from the series, this could be your chance. Ben Hawkey, who plays Hot Pie on the HBO show, has opened a “Game of Thrones”-themed bakery in London called “You Know Nothing John Dough.”

The bakery works with the U.K.’s online delivery service Deliveroo and in the short time it’s been open, it’s done very well. They’re not accepting orders any more according to Deliveroo, but fans hope they’ll start baking again.

“Hot Pie’s Direwolf loaves are a favorite for ‘Game of Thrones’ fans, and people are always asking me for the secret of my recipe,” Hawkey says. “I can’t share that recipe, but Deliveroo customers will have the chance to try them themselves. You don’t even need to take a dangerous walk down the King’s Road to visit, it comes to you.”

It’s unclear if Hawkey’s bakery is officially associated with HBO’s “Game of Thrones” or George R.R. Martin’s novels, but fans have their fingers crossed they’ll get to taste a slice of this beloved bread.
