Who says black cats are bad luck?
A black cat named Sable acts as an unofficial crossing guard for young students in West Richland, Washington. Just the clockwork, the 15-year-old feline comes out twice a day – every morning and afternoon – to make sure the kids make it safely across the street.
"He's out there just like the students are, whether it's raining or snowing, or real hot and sunny, the cat is out there," said safety patrol advisor Monti Franckowiak.
Sable’s owner Tamara Morrison said one day about a year ago the cat just walked outside to greet the students and he’s been doing it ever since. Sable even has his own safety vest now!
