The White House now has two presidential pooches. Sunny, a Portuguese water dog like the Obamas' original first dog Bo, arrived at the White House on Monday.
The pooch, born in Michigan in June 2012, was named for her cheerful personality, according to the White House Web site. In honor of their new dog's arrival, the Obamas made a donation to the Washington Humane Society.
Bo has been with the Obamas shortly after they moved into the White House, but in October first lady Michelle Obama told reporters that Bo needed a playmate.
It remains to be seen if Sunny will get an official portrait like Bo, but she is already featured in a YouTube video frolicking with her new housemate.
