I’ve been hosting the B101 morning show since March ’01 (as the boss keeps saying, “Are you STILL here?”)And since that time we’ve been through a lot together: the Cianci conviction, 9/11, the Station fire, 3 Patriot’s Super Bowls, and of course, the Red Sox FINALLY winning the World Series! We’ve raised funds and created awareness for the Rhode Island Food Bank, The Rhode Island Blood Center, Diabetes, Arthritis, and the Station Fire Fund. And we’ve thanked you, our listeners, by giving away great things, like cruises, trips, cars, tickets to shows, movies, and sporting events, not to mention CASH!Oh, and there’s more to come!
I’ve lived many places in my life, but there is absolutely NO PLACE like Southern New England to call home, with its beautiful views, great restaurants, gorgeous summers, and exciting events.Whether I’m boating on Narragansett Bay, rollerblading on the EastBay and Warwick bike paths, coaching rugby at URI and RIC, watching my daughter Marcia play soccer for TollGateHigh School, or dining at the Grill on Main in East Greenwich, there is always something going on in Southern New England!
Thanks for letting us share all this with you each weekday morning from 5:30-10. Along with my pals, Kristin Lessard and Steve Mac, “TC & Friends” looks forward to helping you get the day started right, here on “BIG HITS, B101!”
TC and Donna celebrating their daughter Marcia's graduation!!
To Marcia, as you leave for Villanova
‘Seems we’re always missing you, even when you’re here,
Perhaps that’s ‘cause we know that soon, you won’t be quite as near,
We miss the games, the meets and dances, and when your friends would visit,
In short, we miss your life with us, that’s not so strange, now is it?
We always knew this day would come, school was emphasized,
So why that now the time is here, we are so surprised,
About no clicking on the keyboard, no laughing in the hall,
About an upstairs empty room, and no soccer in the fall?
We know that you’re not really gone, just on to other things,
But still there’s joy that fills our hearts, when the telephone rings,
Will this feeling ever pass?If so we know not when,
For here we are, just us two, missing you once again.
We love you so very much,
Mommy and Daddy
